Art
Our preschool's art program encourages creativity and self-expression through various art forms such as painting, drawing, and crafting. Children have the opportunity to explore different materials and techniques, fostering their imagination and artistic abilities.
Music
Music is an integral part of our curriculum, providing children with a foundation for rhythm, melody, and movement. Through singing, dancing, and exposure to different musical props, our music program enhances children's auditory perception and sensory development.
Social & Emotional
Social-emotional learning is an essential part of early childhood education, supporting growth alongside academics. Children learn to recognize and name their feelings, practice empathy, and build problem-solving skills. Guided activities and daily interactions lay a strong foundation for positive relationships and emotional well-being.
Language
Our language program focuses on building vocabulary, communication skills, and literacy development. Through storytelling, conversations, and exposure to diverse literature, children develop a love for language and enhance their verbal expression and language comprehension.
Mathematics
Mathematics is integrated into our daily activities, encouraging children to explore mathematical concepts through hands-on experiences. Our curriculum includes counting, sorting, patterns, and problem-solving activities, fostering a strong foundation in mathematical thinking and reasoning.
Outside Play
Outdoor play is an essential part of our program, allowing children to explore nature, stay active, and develop an appreciation for the world around them. Our play areas encourage imaginative play and collaboration, while daily outside time builds gross motor skills, coordination, and confidence. A favorite feature is our bike track with tricycles, where children practice balance and strengthen motor skills.
Extra Enrichment
Chapel & Bible
Each week, our entire preschool gathers in the church sanctuary for an exciting and joyful chapel time. Children worship through music and dance, followed by engaging Bible stories that connect to a monthly theme with weekly lessons and a memory verse. Our curriculum includes interactive lessons and crafts that reinforce the weekly message. Chapel is a special time that helps children treasure God’s Word in their hearts while celebrating the joy of faith together.
Spanish
Through our partnership with Spanish Academy LMBD, preschoolers are introduced to Spanish in a fun and engaging way. Children learn colors, numbers, days of the week, body parts, and simple words and phrases through lively songs, games, and interactive activities. The program makes language learning playful and age-appropriate, sparking curiosity and giving children an early foundation for bilingual learning.
Gym Bus
The Gym Bus is a bright blue mobile gymnastics bus that parks on our campus each week, offering an exciting optional enrichment for an additional fee. Inside, children explore a safe, padded space with tunnels, monkey bars, ropes, a ball pit, a rock wall, balance beams, and even a zip line. Designed as “fitness on wheels,” Gym Bus adds an extra layer of fun and movement beyond our daily outdoor play.
