Pre-K 2 Program

Our Pre-K 2 Program is available for children who are 2 years old by Sept.1st. Our 2-year-old program encourages independence, socialization and emotional growth. Our 2 year-olds will have opportunities to grow in an environment where they are loved as unique individuals as well as an essential part of their classroom family. They will also be able to explore themes of character through, community, environment, traditions, experiences and stories. Some of the exciting learning milestones to look forward to in our Pre-k2 are following 2 steps directions, a longer attention span. a growing interest in books and literacy, self-help skills, recognizing primary colors, counting to 20, beginning letter and number recognition, eagerness and exploration, and so much more. We believe that a Christian Education is the most important foundation to a child’s development. With that in mind, every learning experience we provide is intentional and God honoring.

Pre-K 2 Curriculum

To provide the best learning experience to your child, we use a combination of The Wee Learn Curriculum and ABC Jesus Loves Me.

The Wee Learn Curriculum provides the framework on which teachers can build an early childhood program that allows children to grow and develop as Jesus did- “in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man” (Luke 2:52). The Wee Learn incorporates social and emotional development, early literacy, small and large group opportunities and at home activities.

The ABC Jesus Loves Me Curriculum focuses on themes with corresponding Bible stories.  Bible stories are supported with memory verses, songs, and finger plays, poems or nursery rhymes.  Academically, a 2-year-old is introduced to colors, shapes, counting, and recognizing letters and numbers.  The child is also taught self-care and manners along with personal information.  A child’s growth and development is viewed as a process, not an event. Development begins when the child is conceived and continues throughout life. Spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, and social development is equally important.

Pre-K 3 Program

Our Pre-K 3 Program is available for children who are 3-years-old by Sept. 1st and completely potty-trained. Our 3-year-old program encourages independence, socialization, emotional, gross and fine motor and academic skills. Our 3-year-olds will have opportunities to grow in an environment where they are loved as unique individuals as well as an essential part of their classroom family. They will also be able to explore themes of character through, community, environment, traditions, experiences and stories. Our Pre-K 3 program is the groundwork for our VPK program. Children who attend our Pre-K 3 before entering VPK will be more equipped and, essentially, will make an easier transition into Kindergarten. We believe that a Christian Education is the most important foundation to a child’s development. With that in mind, every learning experience we provide is intentional and God-honoring.

The 3-Year-Curriculum consists of a chronological study of Bible stories starting in Genesis. Each Bible story is supported with a memory verse, song, and finger play or nursery rhyme.  Academically, a 3-year-old learns colors, letter of the week consisting of the uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and basic math skills including shapes, sorting, spatial concepts, and patterns.  Gross and fine motor skills activities are also included in this curriculum.  A child’s growth and development is viewed as a process, not an event. Development begins when the child is conceived and continues throughout life. Spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, and social development is equally important.
